Once Jamala took part in this competition but it was not successful. Then she decided to change her style completely. When I saw her on TV I knew that she will be number one. So Ukraine has won the 2016 Eurovision song contest. As she collected her trophy, she pleaded for “peace and love”. Jamala had said her victory would show that Europeans were “ready to hear about the pain of other people”. Moreover modern European people are not indifferent, and are ready to hear about the pain of other people and are ready to sympathise” She said: “I sing a song about peace and love, but actually, I really want peace and love to everyone.” She yelled: “Thank you, Europe - welcome to Ukraine!”
