For example, one liter of milk costs about 35 UAH (0.9 EUR), while in Germany it costs around 1.2 EUR. A loaf of bread in Ukraine costs about 25 UAH (0.6 EUR), and in Germany — about 2 EUR. Meat is also more expensive in Germany: chicken costs around 8 EUR per kilogram, while in Ukraine — about 180 UAH (4.5 EUR). However, fruits and vegetables in Germany are usually of higher quality and available all year round.
