Текст оповідання (з урахуванням початку з підручника):

Once my family went hiking. We had been walking the whole day. We were very tired and decided to look for a place to stay, when we looked around, we saw the ruins of an old castle on a high hill. The castle was located on a rocky point above the river. Its thick walls showed that it had been a strong defensive building. Long ago a war almost destroyed it, and now only a few towers and lines of brick walls were left. The soil around the hill was soft and dark after the rain, so we walked carefully up the path. At the top we met a guide who told us about the existence of the castle and about the noble family who had lived there. We sat on a stone and looked at the town below. It was a perfect place to rest after a long day of walking.
