1) In 1259 the first fortifying structures were destroyed.

2) In 1270 they were rebuilt.

3) In 1340, when Lviv was captured by Casimir III, the wooden castle was set on fire.

4) In 1353 it was destroyed again by the Lithuanians.

5) In 1362 a new brick castle appeared on the hill and became the residence of Polish nobles.
