1. Look at the photos. What does each one show?

The first one shows the family having dinner together.

The second one shows a game playing together with a family.

2. Work in groups of three. One student is the teacher and the other two students are Student A and Student B. The teacher reads the script, while Student A and B answer the questions. Then change roles until everyone has had a turn at being the teacher, Student A and Student B.

In this photograph, I can see a family eating together. There are two adults and two children. They are sitting around a table and smiling. They are having lunch or dinner. The table is full of food and drinks. They look happy because they are talking and enjoying their meal. I think they are at home in their dining room. They are spending time together and having a nice day.

Student B – People doing sport.

Answer:

In this photograph, I can see some people doing sport. They are playing football in a park. They are wearing sports clothes and trainers. It looks like a warm, sunny day. The players are running after the ball and having fun. There is a lot of green grass around them. I think they enjoy playing together because they are smiling and working as a team.
