Social networking is a topic that divides opinion–some people think it’s an amazing tool but others are worried about the impact it has on people’s lives. There are many reasons why someone may choose to take advantage of social networks online. You can easily keep in touch with family and friends, make new friends, express yourself, share information, pictures, music etc., finding new connections and even job. But not everyone knows about negative effects of having social networking accounts. Simple things like not setting your privacy settings properly or liking someone’s photo can have bad results. Cyber bulling and crimes against children, risks of fraud or identity identify theft are not the only, but the most dangerous problems that people can meet while using social networks. So, when using any social media platform, take responsibility for your own safety, be careful with what you post and enjoy all the advantages of social networking, because they are limitless!
