Project Write about an interesting visit to a famous city. Think about your answers to the questions. Last spring, I visited Kyiv with my family. We went there for three days, and the weather was warm and sunny, perfect for walking around. We saw many famous places, including Khreshchatyk Street, Independence Square, and the beautiful golden–domed St. Michael’s Monastery. We also visited the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, where I learned a lot about the city’s long and important history. One afternoon, we went shopping for souvenirs and traditional Ukrainian crafts. My favourite part of the trip was taking a boat ride along the Dnipro River and seeing the city from the water. It was an amazing visit, and I hope to go back again someday.
