Впр.2 Mariyinsky Palace is one of the most beautiful and famous palaces in Ukraine. It is situated in Kyiv next to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. This Baroque building was built in the 1752 by Rastrelli, an Italian architect. At the moment, some official events of highest level are held in the palace. St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery is a monastery in Kiev. It is located on the right bank of the Dnipro River. It was built in 1108-1113 by Sviatopolk Iziaslavych. The interior of the Monastery is in its original Byzantine style. It is a functional monastery and a popular tourist attraction.
