2. A. Look at the list of the most important inventions and write the dates of their inventing from the box next to each of them. Arrange them in the chronological order. 9 – telephone 1876. 8 – refrigerator 1850. 10 – the Internet 1969. 3 – printing press 1440. 2 – paper the 2nd century BC. 7 – braille 1829. 5 – water thermometer 1593. 4 – microscope 1590. 1 – wheel around 3500 BC. 6 – electricity 19th century. B. Discuss the questions in groups. 1) All of these inventions made people’s lives easier. 2) I think they all were mainly good, because people’s lives became more comfortable. But, if talking about the nuclear power, a nuclear bomb as fellows, it changed the world in a bad way.
