b) On my last holiday I followed my friends’ advice and went to Crimea. It’s a peninsula in the south of Ukraine. It’s comparatively small, but there are amazing landscapes — from plains to mountain ridges, and so is the flora with lots of exotic plants. The Black Sea beaches are fantastic, and local food too. There are activities for every taste: you can swim in the sea and lie in the sun, or climb steep mountains, or explore beautiful caves, or hike, or ride a horse. You can stay at luxurious hotels or at modest local houses or in a tent. The service may be not good enough, but people are fantastic!
