Once I was asked to conduct a lesson at first form. I had never viewed myself as a teacher and I am not sure that I have a way with children, but one day the first-form teacher got suddenly ill. Other teachers had their own classes, so my class teacher said, “Why don’t you try teaching young children?” And I did. I was worried and excited. My task was to revise the alphabet with children. They were also excited to see a strange serious girl come into class and start teaching them. Now I think I want to be a teacher when I grow up.
