Mukachevo Palanok Castle is an old castle in Ukraine. It was built on a 68-meter hill rising over the Valley of the Latorystsa River. The oldest part of the castle, the Upper Castle, was constructed in the 15th century. The Middle and Lower castles were built in the middle of the 17th century. Bastions surround each part of the castle and there are fortified gates with bridges over the moats. Nowadays Mukachevo Palanok Castle is a historical museum. Its galleries contain an exhibition of modern sculpture. I think this castle is a very beautiful and interesting place to visit.
