Write a short review of your favourite Ukrainian movie. Include: a) What the film is about b) What you liked c) What you didn’t like d) Whether you would recommend it to a friend and why? Model: “Stop-Zemlia” is a film about a girl named Masha and her classmates. They are preparing for exams, but also thinking about love, friendship, and their future. They talk about things we talk about too. For example, being worried about school, feeling alone sometimes, or liking someone but being afraid to say it. The film shows what it’s like to be a teenager in Ukraine today. I liked it, because the film feels real. The actors were very natural. I would recommend this film to teenagers because it helps us understand each other better and see that we are not alone with our thoughts.

Зразок короткого відгуку про улюблений український фільм.

My favourite Ukrainian movie is "The Stronghold" ("Storozhova Zastava"). It is an adventure fantasy film about a modern boy named Viktor who travels back to the times of Kyivan Rus. He meets brave warriors and has to help them fight against dark forces and save the fortress. I liked the exciting plot, beautiful Ukrainian landscapes and good special effects. The characters are brave and funny, and the film shows Ukrainian history in an interesting way. I didn’t like that some battle scenes were a bit too long and sometimes too violent. I would recommend this film to my friends because it is dynamic, easy to understand and it makes you feel proud of Ukrainian culture.
