History is my favourite school subject.

I like it because I can learn about the past and understand the present.

At our History lessons we read about famous kings, queens and warriors.

It is interesting to see how people lived many years ago.

History also shows us how different countries and cultures developed.

Our teacher often tells exciting stories and shows old photos and maps.

I think History is useful because it teaches us not to repeat the mistakes of the past.

It helps me to understand my country and to be proud of my people.

I also need History for my future, because I want to travel and visit historical places.

That is why I always do my History homework and try to get good marks.
