Англійська мова (English), 9 клас · Відповіді до підручника

Умова завдання

Look at the photos again (exercise 7). Say what river appeals to you more. Why? Would you like to take a cruise? Model: The Thames appeals to me more. There are a number of reasons for this. First of all, my favourite subject at school is History, so I’d like to take a cruise along the Thames and visit palaces, cathedrals and churches. Secondly, I like English. While shopping in the luxurious malls, sampling fine foods, and going on excursions, I would be able to practise my English.

Текстова відповідь

Завдання усне: потрібно сказати, яка річка з фото (Дніпро чи Темза) подобається більше, пояснити чому і відповісти, чи хотіли б ви здійснити круїз.

Можливий варіант відповіді англійською мовою:

The Dnipro appeals to me more. There are a number of reasons for this. First of all, it is the main river of Ukraine and it is very beautiful and wide. I would like to take a cruise along the Dnipro and see Kyiv from the water, its bridges and green hills. Secondly, I enjoy nature more than big noisy cities, and the banks of the Dnipro look quiet and peaceful. On a cruise I could relax on deck, take photos and spend time with my friends. So yes, I would really like to take a cruise along the Dnipro.
