5. Complete the telephone conversation with the words from the box using the present simple or present continuous. Frida: Hi, mum! Mum: Hi Frida! How are you? How’s the summer camp? Frida: I’m having a great time. Everyone’s so friendly and I’m making loads of new friends. Mum: Like who? Frida: Well, there’s Paula, she’s from Spain. She really into sport. At home she plays hockey and football but here she is learning how to play tennis and golf. Gabby’s from France – he’s really funny. He never stops telling jokes. Mum: And what kinds of things do you do there? Frida: Today, it is raining so we’re going climbing. Mum: But everything’s wet! Isn’t that dangerous? Frida: That’s why we are going to an indoor climbing wall. Paula often goes to the one near her house and she says it’s fun! She’s so confident about everything – I’m a little scared. Mum: Please be careful! Frida: Don’t worry! Our instructor is brilliant! She’s very serious about safety. And then in the afternoon, we are visiting a museum. Mum: I know you! You complain about museums! You always complain when we go and say you’re bored. Frida: I don’t understand, but this is different! And then tomorrow we are sailing across the lake. Mum: It sounds like you’re having an amazing time! I’ll let you go and thanks for phoning! Frida: Bye mum! Love you!
