WRITING Imagine you’ve been at a summer camp for a week. Write an email to a friend giving him/her your news. Hi Alex, I’ve been at summer camp for a week now, and it’s been amazing! The camp is in the mountains near a big lake, so the view is beautiful. The weather’s great, and we spend a lot of time outdoors. So far, I’ve tried hiking, kayaking, and rock climbing. I really enjoy the kayaking — it’s so relaxing! The food is good too, though I don’t like waking up so early every morning. Everyone here is friendly, and we often have campfires in the evening where we sing songs and tell stories. Overall, I think this camp is fantastic. I’m learning a lot and having fun every day!
