8a What an adventure! 1. Look at the types of holiday below and discuss. What does each of these types of holiday involve? – Camping holiday — sleeping in a tent, cooking outdoors. – Cruise — travelling on a ship and visiting many places. – Holiday by the seaside — swimming, sunbathing, relaxing on the beach. – Safari — watching wild animals in nature. – Backpacking holiday — travelling with a backpack, often low–cost. – Skiing trip — skiing or snowboarding in the mountains. – Guided city tour — visiting famous places with a guide. What kind of holiday do you usually go on? I usually go on a holiday by the seaside. Which of these have you never been on but would like to try? Why? I’ve never been on a safari, but I’d like to try because I love animals and nature.
