It’s not only sitting at the desk and memorizing things. At school we learn to make friends and be part of a team. School time may be fun. Pupils have a chance of sitting together and discussing things, they can have interesting excursions, or picnics, or a few-days’ camping in the country-side. They can join various groups and practice hobbies like painting or singing or dancing or sports and many other things. Even ordinary lessons can be interesting when teachers involve pupils in discussions and illustrate material with additional examples, while just sitting at home is dull and boring. So, school is worth going to.
