Give some examples. tower – a tall, narrow building, either free–standing or forming part of a building such as a church or castle: Big Ben; cathedral – the principal church of a diocese, with which the bishop is officially associated: St. Pauls Cathedral; castle – a large building, typically of the medieval period, fortified against attack with thick walls, battlements, towers, and in many cases a moat: Edinburgh Castle; bridge – a structure carrying a road, path, railway, etc. across a river, road, or other obstacle: Tower Bridge.
