Everything depends on a style of a play and actors. Theatres are good as you can feel this atmosphere while watching it. It is also a nice chance to go out with your friends or relatives. But nevertheless I think cinema is more popular nowadays. You can take popcorn and something to drink and enjoy watching the film.
