Write a small article about your native town/city. Include the following information: Korosten is a historic city and a large transport hub in the Zhytomyr Oblast of northern Ukraine. It is located on the Uzh River. The name may be derived from the word korost, 'brushwood, bushes, shrubbery. The city was founded over a millennium ago and was the capital of the Drevlians, an ancient Slavic tribe. Annually on the third Saturday of September in the city park International Deruny festival is held. Our city has a very beatiful park with a lot of monuments and 2nd world war museum - Skelya.
