1. They are very emotional and cover most of their face with hair — emos.

2. They seem somewhat aggressive and usually have tattoos and piercings — punks.

3. They are competitive, play a lot of video games and often wear headphones — gamers.

4. They value risk and freedom, prefer comfort to trends and love skateboarding — skaters.

5. They want joy and peace, listen to rock, folk or blues and put on loose clothes — hippies.

b) Write down a few other names of subcultures that you know and what they are like.

Goths often wear dark clothes and listen to gothic music. Metalheads enjoy heavy metal music. Hip-hop fans enjoy rap music and street dancing.
