POLLUTION IN BIG CITIES

Pollution is a serious problem in big cities. Two common types are air and water pollution. Air pollution is caused by smoke from vehicles and factories and by burning fuel and waste. Water pollution happens when chemicals, plastic and rubbish enter rivers and lakes.

These problems make air and water dirty and dangerous. They can harm people’s health, plants and animals, and air pollution can also affect the climate.

There are several solutions. People should use cars less, walk, ride bikes or use public transport. We should save electricity, recycle more and use eco-friendly products. Factories must stop throwing waste into water, and governments should support clean energy and protect water sources. If everyone helps, big cities can become cleaner and healthier.
