Technological developments are taking place so quickly that we cannot imagine what life will be like in a few decades, or even in a few years from now. (1) However, there is one thing that we can be certain of. That is that robots will play a very important role in the future.

Robots are already being used in many fields. (2) For instance, they are used to produce electrical appliances and cars. (4) In addition, robots have made it possible for us to explore hazardous environments, (5) such as oceans, active volcanoes and even other planets. (6) As a result, we have increased our scientific knowledge greatly.

Researchers in the field of robot development are certain that robots will play an even bigger role in the near future. That’s (7) because they will be able to feel, think, learn and make their own decisions.
