Longleat: A Wild Adventure!

You can go to Longleat Safari and Adventure Park in the south-west of England and experience the excitement of seeing many different wild animals. I was lucky enough to go there last summer. It was a great experience, and one that I will never forget.

Longleat opened in 1966 and was the first safari park outside of Africa. It is located in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside and visitors can drive through various animal areas such as the “Lion Country” and “Tiger Territory”. You can also see amazing animals like zebras, wolves, elephants and even giraffes there. More importantly, it is now home to all sorts of endangered animals.

Apart from seeing all these animals, you can also have close contact with them. For example, we drove through the park and at one point a group of monkeys jumped on top of our car! It was quite a surprise, but an exciting experience. After seeing the monkeys, we visited a cave full of bats. There were so many that we could barely see the walls of the cave!

There were so many wonderful things to see and do at Longleat that we could have spent three days there! Why not visit Longleat yourself? What could be more exciting than seeing wild animals up close? It’s truly an unforgettable experience!
