Madam Tussauds

Today I’d like to tell you about Madam Tussauds in London. It is one of the most famous wax museums in the world. The first exhibition of Marie Tussaud’s figures opened in London in 1835 on Baker Street. Later the museum moved to its present building on Marylebone Road. Inside there are different areas: music, film, sport and a royal room with the British royal family. There is also a special scary section called the Chamber of Horrors where you can see figures of famous criminals. New wax figures appear regularly, because the museum follows modern life and new celebrities. Visitors can stand very close to the figures, touch them and take photos with their favourite stars. That is why Madam Tussauds is a very popular attraction for tourists of all ages.
