Trafalgar Square is one of Britain’s great tourist attractions. It is in the central part of London. In the middle of the square there is Nelson’s Column with four giant lions at its base. There are two lovely fountains and people like to admire the sparkling water, especially in the evening when floodlights illuminate it. Many pigeons live in the square and children enjoy feeding them. Every year before Christmas the people of Norway send an enormous Christmas Tree to Trafalgar Square, and it looks wonderful after dark. Tourists from all over the world come here to walk, take photos and feel the special atmosphere of London.
