We discussed the reasons to study Biology. Most students in our class think that the best reason is that Biology helps us understand how to improve our health and diet. Many students also like the idea that Biology can help scientists create new medicines from plants. Another popular argument is that Biology explains how all living things are connected and how we depend on plants and animals for food, clothing and shelter. Only a few students chose the idea about the theory of evolution as the most important reason.
