1. Waterfalls are formed when a river flows quickly and falls from a high rock or cliff.
2. The Maniava waterfall is the highest waterfall in the Carpathian Mountains.
3. The Maniava waterfall is lined by high steep rocks (rock walls).
4. In the Carpathian Mountains you can find different kinds of waterfalls: low and high, narrow and wide, single and cascade waterfalls.
5. There is a small deep lake at the Maniava waterfall; its water is very clean but very cold.
