MY FAVOURITE FILM

I like going to the cinema. When I have free time, I often go to see new films. There is a cinema near my house, and I usually go there with my friends. I like watching feature films and funny comedies. I also enjoy films about real life, showing people’s feelings and problems. These films often make me think deeply.

My favourite film that I saw recently is “Titanic”. It is an American film made by a famous director, James Cameron. The film tells the true story of the British passenger ship “Titanic”. People thought it could never sink, but it hit an iceberg and sank on its first trip in 1912. Many people died — 1,513 lives were lost.

While watching the film, I liked the special effects the most. The main actors are Leonardo DiCaprio from America and Kate Winslet from England. This film became famous all over the world. It won 11 Oscars in 1998, the most important awards in the USA for movies. It won prizes for best picture, director, photography, story, costumes, sound, and music.

Many people liked this film, and I really like it too.
