Chemistry is one of the most interesting subjects at school for me. It is not my favourite subject, because it is sometimes difficult to remember all the formulas. However, I like Chemistry lessons when we do experiments in the laboratory. I want to know why leaves change colour in autumn and why plants are green. Chemistry also helps me understand how food changes when we cook it. Our teacher often shows us how different cleaning liquids work. I think this knowledge is useful, because it can keep us safe at home. We use many chemicals every day, but we usually do not notice them. Thanks to Chemistry I understand the world around me better. So I do not always enjoy learning rules, but I know that Chemistry is an important subject.
