I have learnt that many people go to the theatre nowadays and that our theatre stages interesting modern and classical plays. The performances usually begin at 6 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. People usually come ten or twenty minutes before the performance to walk round the foyer and look at the portraits of the actors and actresses. In the theatre there are different parts: the balcony, boxes, pit, dress-circle and stalls. The atmosphere in the theatre is unusual; people feel comfortable and relaxed and everybody is quiet during the performance. The cast and scenery are usually fantastic. When you buy tickets you can ask about seats in the front row of the dress-circle, about boxes or about any cheaper seats that are left. Sometimes there are only a few seats left unless somebody cancels.
