Умова завдання

Read the list of possible development option for the future of the Internet. Say which of them are the most probable. A Our digital presence will not be separate from the physical world. B The world in front of us will be a mix of the physical and the virtual realities. C Scientists will link our brain to the Internet. D "The Internet of things" will be present in every home. E Instead of learning new languages, we will just install a translation app that allows us to live-translate our own speech in real-time.

Завдання: прочитати варіанти можливого розвитку Інтернету (A–E) і сказати, які з них, на твою думку, найімовірніші.

Можлива відповідь англійською:

I think the most probable options are B, D and E.

First, the world in front of us will be a mix of the physical and the virtual realities, because virtual reality glasses and games are already popular.

Second, “the Internet of things” will be present in every home, as we already use smart TVs, smart speakers and many other smart devices.

Third, translation apps are getting better every year, so soon we will be able to live-translate our speech in real time instead of learning new languages.

Options A and C are less probable for me, because they are too dangerous and raise many ethical questions.
