2. You are going to read about two Australian teens. Read the texts quickly. Where do they live? Do they like living there? Why? / Why not?

Teen 1 (Manly, Sydney).

Where does she/he live? – In Manly, a part of Sydney, near the ocean.

Does she/he like living there? – Yes.

Why? – Because it has beautiful beaches, there are lots of things to do, and they enjoy surfing, visiting the zoo, and spending time in the city. The only thing they don't like is that there are too many tourists in summer.

Teen 2 (the Australian outback).

Where does she/he live? – On a cattle station in the Australian outback.

Does she/he like living there? – Yes.

Why? – Because there are open spaces, beautiful stars at night, wildlife, and outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, horse riding, and quad biking. Now the teen goes to boarding school in the city but misses the countryside and the animals.
