5. a natural environment where there are no humans – the wild.

Talking Points:

1. What effect does our lifestyle have on animals in the wild?

Our lifestyle has a big effect on wild animals. We cut down forests, pollute rivers and oceans, and build more cities and roads. This destroys animals' habitats and makes it harder for them to survive. Climate change also affects many species.

2. Does it matter if certain animals disappear forever? Why? / Why not?

Yes, it does matter. Every animal has an important role in nature. If one species disappears, it can affect other animals and plants. We should protect endangered animals because they help keep ecosystems healthy, and future generations should be able to see them too.
