People often talk about the weather when they meet someone, when they are making plans, or when the weather is unusual or extreme.

2. What problems do extreme weather conditions cause for people? Why?

Extreme weather can cause floods, fires, power cuts, damage to homes, and transport problems. It can also be dangerous because people may get injured or lose their homes.

3. Will people ever be able to control the weather? Why? / Why not?

I don't think people will ever be able to completely control the weather because it is a very complex natural system. However, scientists may be able to predict weather more accurately and reduce some of its effects in the future.
