5. Read the questions and discuss them with a partner. Use phrases from the Prepare to speak box to keep the conversation going.

A: How much do you know about your favourite celebrity?

B: I know quite a lot. My favourite celebrity is Cristiano Ronaldo. I know about his football career and his charity work. What do you think?

A: That’s an interesting point. I like Taylor Swift because of her music and the way she helps her fans.

B: What would you like to find out about your favourite film star?

A: I'd like to know what their daily life is like. Do you agree that celebrities deserve more privacy?

B: I suppose so, although they know that being famous means people will be interested in them.

A: Would you like to be famous?

B: I'm not sure, because I like having a private life. But what about you?

A: It depends, doesn't it? I'd like to be famous for doing something I love, but I wouldn't want photographers following me everywhere.

B: How would your life change if you were famous?

A: I could travel, meet interesting people, and help others, but I would miss my privacy.
