4. Work in pairs. Ask your partner what he/she did/didn’t do yesterday and last weekend; what he/she will/won’t do tomorrow and next Sunday. Make notes and report what he/she says to the class.

Ask your partner questions:

Yesterday: What did you do yesterday? What didn’t you do yesterday?

Last weekend: What did you do last weekend?

What didn’t you do last weekend?

Tomorrow: What will you do tomorrow?

What won’t you do tomorrow?

Next Sunday: What will you do next Sunday?

What won’t you do next Sunday?

Answers to each question, for example:

Yesterday: I watched a movie / I didn’t go to school.

Last weekend: I played football / I didn’t visit my grandma.

Tomorrow: I will study English / I won’t play games.

Next Sunday: I will go shopping / I won’t stay at home.

Report to the class:

She said that she watched a movie yesterday and that she didn’t go to school.

He said that he played football last weekend and that he didn’t visit his grandma.

She said that she would study English tomorrow and that she wouldn’t play games.

He said that he would go shopping next Sunday and that he wouldn’t stay at home.
