The Goth Subculture

Another interesting youth subculture is the goth subculture.

It appeared in the late 1970s and early 1980s in the UK.

Goths are often seen as creative, thoughtful, and emotional people.

They usually enjoy art, music, and self–expression.

Many goths believe in being different from others and showing their individuality.

They are usually calm and do not like following common fashion trends.

Their fashion is very easy to recognise.

Goths usually wear black clothes, such as long coats, black dresses, leather jackets, boots, and dark accessories.

They may also wear silver jewellery, dark makeup, and sometimes have unusual hairstyles.

In my opinion, the goth subculture is interesting because it is unique and expressive.
