Dear Emily,

Thank you for asking me about my shopping habits.

You know that I’ve always (1) enjoyed shopping, but everybody says that I have to be careful with my money. In fact, I rarely check the

price, and sometimes I spend too much. Recently, I’ve (2) bought a new pair of shoes that I love. They were expensive, but I’ve (3) worn them every weekend. I’ve also (4) found a lovely dress for my friend’s party. Actually, I bought two. Though I sometimes waste money on things I don’t really need, this month I’ve (5) been more careful. So, I’ve even (6) saved up some money. I’m happy that I'm making some progress.

How about you? Have you (7) spent your money wisely this month?

Love,

Ann
