A few years ago we moved to a new city, so I had to change schools. On the first day at my new school, I was nervous. I find (1) it hard

to make new friends and hardly said a word to anyone for hours. (2) When the morning break started, I went outside and stood on my own.

Towards the end of break, a girl walked up to me. She introduced (3) herself as Monica and started chatting. She was also quite new at
