Lviv is one of the most beautiful cities of our Motherland. The founder of the city is Danylo of Halych. The city took its name after his son’s name - Leo. Lviv is a very old city and has got a long history. There are many places of interest here. We can visit beautiful cathedrals and churches, palaces and museums. There are hundreds of interesting collections in them. Prospect Svobody is the main street of Lviv. The monument to the national hero and poet T. Shevchenko is in the centre of it. People who Live in Lviv are proud of their native city.
