In Ukraine people decorated eggs long ago. They did it at Easter in a special way and called these eggs pysanky. Now Ukrainians make pysanky every Easter. They draw different pictures on the eggs, use wax and dye them. People use plants and leaves to make natural colours. Onion peels and beetroot make red and pink colours.
