9. b) 1. If you are nervous before an interview, try to calm down before you go in.

2. Plan what you are going to say and, if possible, come up with some questions for the interview.

3. You have to know about the company before the interview, so look up about the company on the Internet.

4. You should leave home to turn up at the interview early. Call ahead if you are delayed.

5. Never make out that you are something that you are not. Be yourself!

6. Make sure you speak up when you are answering questions.

7. Look around the room, as this will help you to settle down.

8. Dress up for the occasion. Don't turn up for the interview in an old pair of jeans.
